Rose Wall
Everyday Star

Rose Wall, a Huntington County native, has been making a difference in her community since 1975 after she married her husband Tom and got involved in many community activities.  She is a professional floral designer and owner of Wehr Into Flowers and was recently named the Business Associate of the year by the American Business Women’s Association and the Chief of the Flint Springs Tribe for our annual Heritage Days.  Rose has worked behind the scenes in various community projects, often making sure the details were taken are.  Whether planning the breakfast for the Heritage Days Chief of the Flint Springs Tribe, driving to pick up strawberries for the Rotary Club Strawberry Feed, welcoming local kindergartners to visit their family farm each year, assisting at the 4-H Fair with the Royalty Contest, or working on the Main Street program to beautify the downtown area, Rose will do whatever needs to be done.  Her passion to help people in the community shows through as she gives of her time and talents with her helping hands, kind words, and her smile in everything she does.  Rose says “it is about working together and hooking people up to get the work done”.  She has been called the “godmother” of Huntington, and how fitting as she waves her wand and quietly sprinkles her love and generosity throughout the community and to all she meets.
