Chris Freehill
Everyday Star

In Native American Lore, the Wolf understands that all we need is love, and is fully capable of providing it.  In a nurturing environment the Wolf is intensely passionate, generous, deeply affectionate, and gentle. Chris Freehill, is the wolf with his passion to give back to the community.  With his generous spirit  he donates his time and talent to organizations like United Way, Arts United, Police Athletic League, Franke Park Elementary School, lndiana University, Ball State University and St. Francis University. His generosity continues as an advocate for teenagers through the Franke Park Day Camp  where he provides a nurturing environment as a camp supervisor, teaches campers about nature, camping skills and Native American Lore.  He changed camp rules, strengthened the security for the safety of all children. He is a role model for all teenagers, encouraging them by displaying the spirit of generosity.

“When you were born, you cried but the world rejoiced.  Now go. Live your life honoring our ways. And  when you are reborn to the Great Spirit, the world will cry and you will rejoice.” Lakota Ceremonial Prayer
