Bruce Dye
Everyday Star

My Everyday Star is Bruce Dye. He is President and owner of Heritage Food Service Equipment, Inc. in Fort Wayne.  His charity work that I know about is centered on golf.  He supports the Junior PGA Championship, whose mission is to provide affordable and competitive playing opportunities for boys and girls between the ages of 13 and 18 throughout the country.  He is quoted as saying "we see the Junior PGA Championship as the future of golf and are happy to be part of it."

Bruce has helped make the Mad Anthony's Charity Classic for Children an enormous success.  This event donates many needed dollars to the Mad Anthonys Children's Hope House.  Heritage Food Service Equipment is a title sponsor of the event. Bruce's generosity and vision helped make 2010 a turnaround year for the Mad Anthony's Classic.

I do not play golf and wanted to find another connection to Mr. Dye to put on the Murosity painting. Mad Anthony was my connection and I ended up with the statue of General "Mad" Anthony Wayne that stands in Fort Wayne's Freimann Square.  I enjoyed bringing General Wayne and his horse to life in a small portion on the BIG wall that many people will enjoy for years to come.
